My path to psychotherapy

My journey into psychotherapy came after following my deep curiosity about human development and personality. I've always wondered what truly shapes us – is it our environments, our families, societal influences, or perhaps our genetic makeup? How do our experiences determine our character, and what impacts us on a deep, fundamental level? Through my own experiences of receiving support, and with a natural desire to support others, I wish to pass this gift on. This fascination with how we become the people we are, and how we decide to embrace change and heal, is at the heart of my commitment to helping you navigate your own life, and experiences.

I have years of experience in clinical practice, and have worked with (but not limited to); anxiety, depression, low mood, trauma, suicide, self-harm, emotional and sexual abuse, neglect, rape, chronic illnesses, Loss and grief.

I hold full registered membership with the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, and a member of The Sherwood Psychotherapy training Institute adhering to their code of ethics for safe and ethical practise.

I have a First-class BSc Honours Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy at the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute Nottingham, accredited by Staffordshire University.

Experience deep connection

My deepest hope is that through an authentic human to human contact,  you experience a profound sense of understanding and connection. This is often a rare and invaluable experience, one that forms the foundation for deep personal growth and lasting change. I am here to offer that space, free from judgment, where you can truly be seen and heard.
